Leadership. Nowadays, we are likely don’t have this thing anymore. Even, a poster signed with “WANTED” is set everywhere, looking for a leader. But, I think, we just forget. We are looking for a leader who can liberate us from the situation we have. But we are forget, that we are a leader. WHY?
Because the matter of leadership speaks about “to be an IMPACT”. And, to be an impact, there’s only one condition. RELATIONSHIP. That’s all. If we have a relationship, no matter the type, whether we are aware or not, we are impacting one another. That’s why, the matter of Leadership always talks, “Which people that has GOOD IMPACT?”
There are 4 myths, at least, about leadership.
- A leader must have managerial skills.
- A leader is someone who has the best knowledge.
- A leader is the pioneer.
- A leader is someone with the highest position.
We often thinks about it, but that’s wrong. These conditions is something that helps someone, but that’s not the requisite of being a leader. The world need leaders. That’s why, we must be conscious and take this part from now on.
Don’t ask about the advantage, because the matter of leadership is more than that. The matter of leadership talks about our duty, our duty that we bear since we been born. We must take the part and forget about the myths, just doing our duty!!!
