Collosians 3:22,
“Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God”
Anyone in this world will have something to do. To have something to do is same with to work. To work has a meaning to give a service. If we work to produce something, it means we supply the customer with what they need. All of the successful companies in the world would know that the customer is the master, we must provide them with the satisfaction. This principle is a general knowledge, despite of what we are doing. It means, in everything we do, we are a servant, because we provide service.
Then, the verse above is valid for every one of us. If that so, what we must do?
Collosians 3:23,
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men”
I think the verse is clear enough. Do the best, don’t make God to be ashamed. The fact that most of Christian is not excellent in what they do must makes us to reflect. Have you give the best for them that you serve? If not, start to give the best. If yes, make your service to be more excellent. Make more innovation, don’t let any mistake to happen!
From an email I got, there are several factors that determine whether a country is success or fail. It is the mentality of the people live there. Some of them are integrity, discipline, customary to save the money they earned, and also how they work! A country where the people is not accustomed to give the best in their work will certainly won’t be a leader country.
If a country is not prosperous, the people won’t be prosperous, despite they are poor or rich!
