Romans 12:2 said
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
At any occasion, we must always change. God doesn’t change, from the eternity to eternity, He is always the same, but we must always change. We are not perfect. So, we must always change. The passage told us that, if we change, we must change by renewing our mind.
There will be so many things that will happen when we want to change. Difficulties, hindrance, and many more, but when we has commit to change, we must tell ourselves that we can do it.
The renewal of our mind will give a willingness to us to do the change. The spirit will empowering us to do it. We must tell ourselves that we can change, because we have the right reason to change.
If someone want to stand against problems, don’t face it like a big, fat tree that stand still against the storm, it will be cracked. Face it like a bamboo tree, when a bamboo tree experiencing strong wind, it will bend it’s wood and it will stand perfectly. A bamboo tree has a adaptation capability. So must us.
There are 5 step to change, according to Luke 15 (about the lost boy):
- V. 17. Know our condition.
- V. 18. Commit to change. At this rate, there will be a trial for us. The devil will make us to delay our actions, like, “this is 27 of the month right now, do it at first date next month, it’s nicer..” and many others.
- Stand up and go. Do the change! Do it boldly. The renewal of our mind will give strength to us. Imagine, the lost boy, he is very starving, but, he can walk (im positive that he is walking, because he’s broke), but he can arrive at his father’s house.
- Get back to our father.
- Tell others about our changes.
And, when we do this, the results are:
- Our change will make us get back to Father.
- Others can see our change.
- Others will be blessed by our change.
When we has a problem, never blame the others, also never take pity on ourselves, because some conditions are really set up for us to make us change. Love change! Because change will make us even better, do it always, and it will be our custom. When we commonly do something, it will not be a burden for us, it will be easier.
