As mankind, we often hate to do something. Someone will say, “I hate driving in a rush hour like this. It takes my time!”. Even someone will say, “I hate to eat vegetables!”. But, what Proverbs 5:12 says?
“How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof”
It is normal to hate something. But, do you know, God can tell us His wisdom by many ways, especially in something we don’t like. Why? Because, something that we don’t like is a problem for us, and a problem means a process. A process always has a meaning “to purify”, “to grow”, “to be more valuable”.
If we want to have the knowledge, we must not hate anything, except to sin. When we are driving in a traffic jam, God can teach us to have patient. When we must eat vegetables, it will complete the nutrition needed by our body. Anything can be useful for us, as long as we have the passion to seek the knowledge.
