Some of us will say this at some moments. “Where are you God?” It is natural, i think, at the middle of trouble, we will say like this. Some of us will interpret this as ‘unbelieveness of God’ and say that it is inappropriate. There are only two answers. First, maybe it’s because our sins. Isaiah 59:1-2 said,
Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
The second one, maybe because we simply don’t realize that He is near us. So, from now on, we must understand that it is not our prayer or our biblical meditation that makes us have a relationship with God. It is Jesus’s sacrifice that makes it possible. That makes us know that we have the right to be in His presence, at all time. Never be intimidated by the devil. If we know the truth, it will set us free.

Interesting. I used Isa. 59 as my reading from the Old Testament this past Sunday (it was quoted in Romans 3, which is the lesson I used as my sermon text).
