In a seed, there is a tree. In a tree, there are many seeds. It’s just like us. We are like the seed. We have a potency to be a great man. It’s just a matter of choice. If we want, we will be maximal. If not, like the seed, we will be dead (the potency). God will be sad.
God wants us to be maximal, because He has planted the seed of potency on us.
There are 3 hindrance of potency to be growing:
1. Gen 1:26. God makes us to rule. We have the power, because we have God’s image. The first hindrance is if we don’t do like God’s image (God’s image on us is wrecked). Because our self image is not perfect, we don’t know the potency God has planted on us. See: Gen 2:7, Eph 2:10, Col 1:27. Never give a chance for the devil to communicate with us, because he will break our self image.
2. Gen 2:1-3. God always work. But, the second hindrance is when we don’t work. When God is working to create us, it said that it is a devastating work. He rests. But, God’s working, and He tells Adam to work also. It count on us too. If we don’t work, we will kill our potency. Untill we dead, we must always make our potency bigger and biger. Multiplication!!
3. Gen 2:16-17. When Adam and Eve eat the fruit, their potency is dead. Not their physical. Sin makes our potency dead!! If we not fail to do what God’s want, it makes a disposition, and it makes our potency become not maximal.
